eighty8 yoga is a boutique Black-owned yoga studio located in downtown Phoenix. The owner, Tara, hired me as the studio’s social media manager in December 2020 and our relationship evolved into a true partnership (and sisterhood). We implemented growth strategies to build her online community (up to nearly 2,000 Instagram followers in 6 months!), executed local event marketing and created a launch strategy for the opening of the studio in May 2021.

Post 21 is an online marketplace for Black brands, owned by mother-daughter duo, Juana and Blair. Together, we implemented a consistent Instagram and Pinterest strategy to increase website traffic, build brand awareness and further grow their engaged community. In 2021, Post 21 became the first ever Black-Owned Disney Operating Partner when they opened a shop at Downtown Disney.
