MY STORY

As I managed my social media clients while simultaneously (and successfully) growing my own business, my role naturally evolved into a mentor. Nothing gets me more hype than watching my clients’ businesses grow, and helping them sustain their success.
Along this journey, I have centered the importance of wellness (it’s the yogi in me); as a mentor, it is my absolute passion to help entrepreneurs, just like you, build a profitable brand without compromising their mental, physical and spiritual health.

What was intended to be my “side hustle” evolved into a full-time career within 3 months, and my brand, Authentically Kay was born. 

In 2020, I began offering social media management services to Black-owned businesses.

Since day one, my unwavering mission has been to help BIPOC-Owned businesses and woman of color entrepreneurs increase their visibility with intentional, high-quality marketing strategies.

My Experience

I graduated from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) in 2017 with a B.A in Communications. I started my career in Marketing and spent 5 years at a Digital Marketing Agency as a Project Manager and Social Media Strategist. I worked with biggg corporate brands and learned the ins and outs of content marketing, business strategy, operations & social media.

With 7+ years of combined experience, my approach to marketing combines data-driven strategies and trends with my love for community and mindfulness. I’m here to help your business get more visible, attract quality leads and shine online.
